HAWC to host free public reading in Los Angeles (LA Public Library, 3/31, 6pm)

HAWC will be hosting a free public reading honoring the work of the HAWC to create a visible body of Hmong American literature, as well as celebrating the recent accomplishment of Mai Der Vang winning the 2016 Walt Whitman Poetry Prize. Readers include Burlee Vang (HAWC founder), Mai Der Vang, Andre Yang, Ying Thao, Soul Vang and Anthony Cody.
